As part of the deal, NK Kustosija will receive €300,000 for Chelfi's transfer. The Croatian club will also retain 50% of Chelfi's registration rights. The transfer fee can potentially increase to €2 million if Chelfi performs well and makes regular appearances for Barcelona.

Initially, Chelfi will be registered with Barcelona Atletic, the reserve team of Barcelona. This team is managed by Juliano Belletti.

Barcelona has the option to purchase the remaining 50% of Chelfi's rights within the next two years. Chelfi has committed to playing for Barcelona until 2027 and has a buyout clause worth more than €20 million.
