Coleman will be assisted by Giorgos Korakakis and Dimitris Konstantopoulos as part of his backroom staff.
Throughout his career, Coleman has managed several teams, including Wales, which he led to the semifinals of the 2016 European Championship.
He has also coached Fulham, Coventry City, Sunderland, and Real Sociedad in England and Spain.
In his first comments as the new coach of Asteras Tripolis, Coleman expressed his enthusiasm for the challenge ahead.
"I'm looking forward to getting started and working with the team," Coleman said.
"Asteras is a club with a lot of potential, and I'm confident that we can turn things around and achieve success."
