Wright is also being considered by Liverpool, but Arsenal have made a stronger offer to secure his signature. The Gunners have offered £250,000 plus bonuses for the young player.
This offer is significantly higher than the £100,000 plus add-ons that Liverpool had initially made. Wright has already made four senior appearances for Salford City, known as the Ammies.
