The 2025/26 LaLiga season is just around the corner, and all 20 teams are gearing up for what promises to be an exciting campaign. From reigning champions FC Barcelona to newly-promoted Elche CF, every team has its own story to tell.

Deportivo Alavés, one of the smallest-budget teams in the league, will look to punch above their weight once again. After securing top-half finishes in 2016/17 and 2023/24, they aim to clinch a top-10 spot in a highly competitive league.

Athletic Club, who secured their highest finish in a decade last season, will rely on their solid defensive display to maintain their position. With only six losses last term, they will look to retain their defensive solidity.

Atlético de Madrid has undergone a significant squad overhaul, bringing in new blood to refresh the team. With Diego Simeone at the helm, the team is expected to put together a new and exciting version of themselves.

FC Barcelona has a new goalkeeper, Joan García, who is expected to be Hansi Flick's first-choice shot-stopper. After standing out for a side that competed to secure safety last season, it remains to be seen whether he can make a difference for a team chasing back-to-back league titles.

Real Betis, who finished 10 points below the last UEFA Champions League spot last season, will push for a top-four spot under Manuel Pellegrini's guidance. The Andalusian side is expected to provide a fascinating spectacle in the upcoming campaign.

RC Celta, known for their entertaining style of play, will look to provide even more excitement with the addition of Bryan Zaragoza on loan from Bayern Munich.

Elche CF, who boasted the finest defence in LALIGA HYPERMOTION, will be tested in the top flight. Can their defensive cohesion deliver in the top flight?

RCD Espanyol finished 14th in the table for the third time in four seasons, mainly thanks to their home record. They struggled on the road last season, and it remains to be seen whether they can improve their away record.

Getafe CF, who collected fewer home points than any other team last season, will look to turn the Coliseum back into a fortress. Should they succeed, they could compete for a European spot this season.

Girona FC, who had a campaign to forget last season, will look to rediscover their form under Míchel's guidance. The Catalan side aims to bounce back from adversity this term.

Levante UD, who finished last season as LALIGA HYPERMOTION's second-best attack, will look to excel again this term. José Luis Morales returns to the top flight, where he was considered one of the most underrated forwards in the competition during his previous spell.

RCD Mallorca, who narrowly missed out on European qualification last season, will push for a return to European competitions this term. They boast the sixth-best defence in the top flight and aim to step up their game.

CA Osasuna, who narrowly missed out on Europe, will look to turn their season around under new coach Alessio Lisci. The 39-year-old returns to the top flight, where he had a short spell as Levante UD boss in 2021/22.

Real Oviedo, who welcomed Cazorla back to his boyhood club, will look to feature in LALIGA EA SPORTS at the age of 40. The former Spain international has managed to bounce back from a serious injury and is set to lead his team to a top-flight return.

Rayo Vallecano, who celebrated their team's European qualification for the first time in the club's history last season, will look to maintain their away form. Fans have proved that they can turn the Estadio de Vallecas into a cauldron, and they could eye an even higher finish in the table this term.

Real Madrid, who parted ways with Carlo Ancelotti, will look to bounce back under new coach Xabi Alonso. The 43-year-old tactician will aim to replicate his success as a Los Blancos player.

Real Sociedad, who promoted Sergio Francisco from Real Sociedad B, will look to emulate Imanol Alguacil's success at the Txuri-Urdin. The 46-year-old coach has been tasked with a tough challenge.

Sevilla FC, who have finished 12th, 14th, and 17th in the last three campaigns, will look to bring glory days back to Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán under Matías Almeyda's guidance. The former Sevilla FC midfielder will aim to lead his team back to European spots.

Valencia CF, who turned their season around under Carlos Corberán's guidance, will look to inspire their side to a strong run that could lead to European qualification this season.

Villarreal CF, who welcomed youngsters Alberto Moleiro, Santiago Mouriño, and Rafa Marín, will look to freshen up their side and maintain their strong away record.
