Bruno Fernandes Chooses Manchester United Over Saudi Arabia Move - AsianBookie News Bruno Fernandes Chooses Manchester United Over Saudi Arabia Move
Saturday, October 25, 2025 - 14 hours ago

Bruno Fernandes has revealed that he turned down a lucrative offer from a Saudi Arabian club to stay at Manchester United. The midfielder has been with the club since 2020 and is set to make his 300th appearance for the team in a Premier League match against Brighton at Old Trafford. Manchester United have faced significant challenges during Fernandes' time at the club, including a 15th-place finish in the Premier League last season, which is the club's worst top-flight position since 1973/74. The team also lost the Europa League final to Tottenham, missing out on Champions League qualification.

Fernandes was reportedly offered a move to Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal during the close-season, but he chose to stay at United to focus on his goals with the club. Fernandes' wife and family were also a factor in his decision, as he said they wanted to know if he had achieved everything he wanted to at the club.

Some critics have accused Fernandes of being overly emotional on the pitch, but United's manager, Ruben Amorim, sees his fiery personality as a driving force behind his desire to win the Premier League and Champions League.

Fernandes has a contract with Manchester United until 2027, with an option for an additional year. He has stated that he will not discuss his future until after the World Cup next year, as he feels good about his situation and wants to achieve his goals with the team.

Fernandes has also addressed rumors about a potential departure, saying that he hasn't spoken to anyone about a new agreement and that his agent will only discuss his future after the World Cup.

Manchester United's manager, Ruben Amorim, has expressed his confidence in Fernandes and believes he is still an important part of the team's plans. Fernandes' decision to stay at the club suggests that he is committed to helping Manchester United achieve their goals.

Fernandes' contract situation and his commitment to the club will be closely watched in the coming months, as the team looks to improve their performance and challenge for major honors.

Fernandes has been a key player for Manchester United since his arrival in 2020, and his decision to stay at the club is a positive sign for the team's future.
